Unserious Liberals Pave The Way For Conservatism

Conservatives want the world that was.
Liberals want a better world.
People always want better
But people also fear things becoming worse than they already are.

A people confident in their leaders will move forward
A people who are not will retreat.
A better world is not and will never be built on good wishes and empty promises.
It will never be built by those who grow rich in their alleged service to the cause.

The leadership class that now claims to want to lead us into the future are not serious people.
For conservatives and the majority who are somewhere in the middle
An unserious leadership class is proof positive that a better world is not possible.
An unserious leadership class will leave people abandoning the idea that government can make things better.
People will retreat into well-worn and selfish paths, those paths espoused by conservatives.

The status quo is changed by serious people who demonstrate a willingness to sacrifice for the cause.
People like Martin Luther King and Mother Jones.
Such people will always be smeared by the establishment of any age.
Such people will not wear fancy clothing and be featured on the cover of fashion magazines
Anyone who is, is not serious.
Anyone who is, is not leading towards progress.
Anyone who profits from their efforts and pays no cost is in the service of conservatism
Whether they believe it themselves or not.

The status quo is changed by serious people who demonstrate a willingness to sacrifice for their cause.
People like the millions who marched and risked their lives in the name of civil rights.
People like the millions who struck and risked their livelihoods to gain worker rights.
The status quo will not be changed by people who sit at home and cut checks to politicians.
It will not be changed by those who sign petitions
It will be changed by those who do not sit down and shut up when told
It will be changed by those who don’t merely ask of their leaders but ask of themselves
Who demand their leaders fight as hard as they themselves are already doing.
The world will be transformed by those who transform themselves.

The status quo will not be changed by the likes of Biden, Harris, Pelosi, or Schiff.
It never has been and it never will be.
The status quo will spew out an endless supply of Buttigiegs and Klobuchars to distract you,
To make you believe “maybe this time.”
To make you believe we can change the world without changing ourselves.
The status quo will never run out of those who always SAY the right things and never DO the right thing
They are the ones Malcom X and Martin Luther King warned you about.
They are the enemies of change.
They are the moat outside the castle wall.
On the surface they look nothing alike
And yet they both serve to protect the interests of the status quo.

The foreign policy we have today is not enlightened or progressive,
It is of the most primitive sort imaginable.
They just never show you the savagery of the starvation sanctions and the bombs.
They never show you who really benefits when they say they are fighting for freedom.
The economic system we have to day is not humane or caring
It is little different than the system we had a century ago.
Perhaps we have exported a little more of the misery,
But that is all.

What you have now is a cruel mockery of what we need
Provided by a system that has no intention of changing
Only of distracting, deceiving, swindling and misdirecting you.
It points its finger at your fellow human, your fellow worker and your neighbor
And tells you who to hate.
Because those who seek to rule have always known they must divide if they wish to rule
Because we are many and they are few.
But they will fight tooth and claw to be the masters of the world
While we would rather believe that they are other than what they are.
That we have friends in high places
Looking out for us
Angels we need only worship
And obey
And never ever doubt.
