The West has no desire to save lives, whether it be Ukrainians or Russians. Every dead Ukrainian is a P.R. victory for the war the U.S. is trying to sell and every dead Russian gives Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham a boner. This isn't about helping Ukraine, it's about weakening Russia. Ukraine is being destroyed, a generation of young men killed or disabled. In what sense is Ukraine "winning"?
