The Dominant Paradigm Must Be Overthrown And A Saner One Must Be Created
Some of you may have noticed that I have not been sharing as many essays lately as I usually do. There are reasons for this, which I will explain below, but I want to assure you it is not because I’ve become less passionate about the causes on which I write. Neither have I become cowed into submission, or persuaded to seek my own personal profit by serving the machine I’ve tried so hard to describe, denounce, and defend against. No, I am more convinced than ever that the existing paradigm that currently determines the fate of humanity must be destroyed if we wish to save all life on planet Earth. I am more convinced and more determined that the existing mindset be abandoned and a new one be adopted.
I write now both to communicate to others what my thoughts are and also to communicate my thoughts and feelings to myself. Sometimes feelings and emotions can become so intense they overcome the thinking part of who we are. It helps, immensely, to just start scribbling thoughts onto paper as a way to introduce the deeper parts ourselves to our conscious mind. Like doing a complicated math problem, it becomes so much simpler once we stop trying to figure it all out in our head and start putting it in order in front of us.
