It’s impossible to be in panic mode for an extended length of time. The human body is not built for that. Panic is all very fine for a short duration. Although it is not the ideal state of mind for dealing with a crisis, it often suits the occasion when running from a bear or standing up to someone who attacks you. A short burst of adrenaline can get you out of a jam, but it’s very unsuitable in the long term.

Dealing with a critical situation through reactionary behavior for extended periods of time can no longer be called panic, it is called insanity. Because after repeatedly encountering the same situation, a healthy person will come up with a rational approach to dealing with it. They will approach it like a grownup, develop a strategy, find out what they’ve done wrong in the past, work to avoid repeating such errors, and set about putting an end to the situation that has been causing them so much grief.

Democrats have been dealing with the crisis that is Donald Trump for 8 years. 8 years. There is no way a person, or group of persons, can be in a constant state of panic for 8 years without letting their sanity slip. To be honest, it didn’t take them 8 years, it took them like a minute.
