Reality Can Be Shaped, But You Had Best Be Careful Shaping It

Here is the truth: reality CAN be altered. The truth is not absolute, it is malleable. Through our optimism or pessimism, through our determination or indifference, we help shape the future. Those who succeed to greatness in life realize this.

There is a catch, though: reality can be bent, but it will not break. People sometimes allow themselves to believe — seeing as how they’ve been able to shape the world through will or through optimistic thinking — that there are no limits to how they can use such tricks to manipulate reality.

The healthiest people are those who intuit this power they possess to alter reality without ever thinking too strongly on it and thus try to make it into a way of life. They use this power in those moments of their life when they are most challenged. They are able to rise above what might otherwise break them. They do what others might consider impossible in the name of some greater good or to save the life of a loved one. And then, achieving a sacred purpose, they resume their ordinary life, acknowledging the miracle that occurred as an act of God, or simply ignoring this brief glitch in the matrix.
