Random Political Thoughts

Essayists make a lot of observations that never make it into essays. We just don’t have the time. If you would like to see any of these ideas expanded upon, let me know:

The choice is between coexistence and subjugation and there is no evidence the United States is on the path of coexistence. We cannot accept a rival. Two United States Of Americas could never share the same planet, they would fight each other until one submits. More likely they would fight each other until the planet is destroyed.

Evil will always have its justifications. When it can no longer paint itself as good it will declare itself to be the lesser of evils, a shabby disguise indeed.

Hey, I know Hitler was a bad guy, but he killed like 20 million Russians, so he can’t be all bad, right?

Fascists are always with us. Normally, they are a tiny subsection of society that is scoffed at and ignored. They are horrible people who try to make themselves out to be more than they are and instill fear into certain sectors of the community, but the less we take them seriously the less their fear tactics will work. Jail their bravest should they actually do something and mock their mousy, poorly genetically endowed followers and they will not rise. It is only when the ruling classes have failed utterly that the fascists present a threat to society. Fascists gain credibility by pointing out the failure of the ruling classes and consolidate power when the ruling classes realize they need their protection to remain in power.
