Maybe the U.S. could end its occupation of Syrian territory and show Russia how it's done. See, if you insist one side not do something but permit the other side to do the same thing, that's not morality, it's hypocrisy. It's like asking Russia to fight by the Marcus of Queensbury rules when the other guy has a knife.

"You seem to be unaware of when the war started, but it was in 2014." What indicates to you that this is the case? I remember quite vividly Victoria Nuland telling Geoffrey Pyatt who the leader of Ukraine should be once the democratically elected president was overthrown. Nuland was handing out cookies in Independence Square. John McCain and Lyndsey Graham were in Ukraine having their picture taken with Nazis. Yeah, but that's not considered election interference. Election interference is when some Russian clickbait farm shows a coloring book image of Bernie Sanders in a speedo.
