If you say they’re not bad guys then you know them and therefore they aren’t a stranger. I know plenty of gun owners and 90% of them are good people and 85% of them I trust with a gun. But when I encounter a stranger with a gun I have no idea whether they’re a good and responsible person, and a 15% chance of them not being trustworthy is way more than enough to make me nervous.
