Democrats Will Never Win Without Doing Something For The Left. Also, They Will Never Do Anything For The Left.

I would have thought that those who place women’s rights as their primary issue might have worked to find common ground with those who oppose genocide and nuclear war. Like, even if nuclear war wasn’t your #1 issue, it might at least check in at #5 or maybe #7. After all, most people who don’t want to support a candidate who abets a genocide — and who certainly has done nothing to oppose it — also support the right of a woman to choose what she does with her own body.

Politics, after all, is an exercise in building coalitions. This inevitably involves compromise. And when it comes to people who vote blue no matter who, they certainly know about compromise. They are willing to compromise absolutely every moral stance they have ever held in order to support absolutely any candidate the Democratic Party flings their way. In fact, it is not compromise at all, it is capitulation, because Democratic voters get NOTHING from their candidates and give ALL.

I have never seen the like of it before, though I was not around to see the relationship between a house slave and his master. I have never been on the inside of a cult where people regard their leader as a god, nor thankfully have I ever seen a spouse so thoroughly abused by their significant other that they’ve developed Stockholm Syndrome. I have never seen anything like these things, but if I had to compare it to something, I would compare it to Kamala supporters and the Democratic Party.

Keep in mind ten days ago those same voters were enthusiastically behind a person who the rest of the world viewed as having only slightly more awareness of where he was than a turnip. They were — all of them — willing to vigorously defend his competency to do the job and badmouthed anyone who even slightly suggested he was not. But the word came down from the establishment Democrats and the Hollywood elite like George Clooney, and they pivoted as effortlessly as a dervish to support another candidate with a similar level of awareness. Joe Biden has been put so far in their rear view mirror it’s as though he never existed. Old wine, new bottle.
