Democrats Are A Shoe-In For 2028, But Can They Succeed Enough To Win In 2032?

It looks like 2028 is going to be an absolute “gimme” for Democrats in 2028. The main question in my mind is how bad will they have to be in 2032 to give it back to the Republicans. Other questions I have are, “How close to being Trump will Democrats be willing to push it? How dreadful do they expect to be and still have a shot at winning a second term?

Keep in mind the bar is set so low that Democrats will have to dig a hole to get under it. But there is no doubt in my mind they can do it. All prior indicators point to them being worse in 2028 than Trump was in 2024. They did it in 2020, when they provoked a proxy war with a nuclear-armed country, then did absolutely nothing to stop Israel from doing their best impersonation of Nazi Germany, then topped it off with finally achieving their goal of toppling the secular government of Syria and replacing it with the former second-in-command of al-Qaeda in Iraq (His branch of al-Qaeda was so brutal they actually got reprimanded by al-Qaeda leadership for their shear amount of bloodshed). All while refusing to give us a $15 an hour minimum wage.
