Change Requires Commitment, Sacrifice, And A Desire To Be A Better Human Being

If you want things to change, you have to show those in power that you’re able to survive without what they provide for you. This is your power, and those who are IN power only understand power. They laugh at the demands of the powerless. They laugh at those who want change but aren’t willing to do what it takes to force change. You have to love your freedom more than whatever it is that your rulers are able to give you. And if you can’t live, if you physically cannot exist, without what they provide for you, you have to start planning to find alternatives to what they provide for you. Only in this way will you ever be able to change your relationship with those who currently hold power.

There is nobody between you and the oligarchs that is going to help you, because the oligarchs have already purchased those people and all those who sit in seats of power. They have all been bought off, and bought off at a disappointingly tiny price, because they too have decided they cannot live without what the people in power have to offer them. The best such people will ever be able to offer you is a false compromise, demanding you give now for what they promise they will deliver later but never do. If you have no power over them, or you are unwilling to exercise what power you have over them, they will make endless promises…
