After Betraying All Their Allies, Liberals Now Feel Abandoned
I don’t think Democrats understand the concept of losing. I keep hearing statements about Ukraine like “Russia has to make concessions.” Why? They are not losing, they’re winning. Winners don’t make concessions.
Similarly with Kamala Harris. There is already talk of her running again in 2028. Why? She lost. It was a rather epic loss. She did much worse than even the old plagiarist/liar with dementia did. She would have got wiped out in the primaries too if they had had primaries. Kamala Harris is never going to be president, and God help us all if she is (I mean, provided we survive Trump’s second term).
The only win Democrats shoot for is sustaining a proxy war using Ukraine against Russia. But even that is merely a prolonged loss.
Losing is not in the Democrats’ vocabulary. Unfortunately, neither is winning. They like to pretend there are no real winners or losers, that the world ought to be egalitarian and everybody should be celebrated for who and what they are regardless of how capable they are of performing a job. And I appreciate the idea of a world without winners and losers, especially one without a winner take all approach. But Democrats only worry about keeping things equal when they lose, not when they win.
